Unfortunately, poly bags are an unavoidable truth of the fashion industry. Every year the industry produces almost a trillion poly bags. This horrified us as consumers which pushed us to find a better solution.
We researched many alternatives to this plastic disaster, and it took us several months to weigh the pros and cons of each. Finally, we found a solution that actually cleans up the environment.
We decided on a poly bag that is made from 100% ocean bound plastic pollution, which is plastic that has been recovered from within 30 miles of the coastline, or collected from beaches, waterways or coastal areas. The manufacturer of our poly bags also offsets all carbon emissions from the already low energy production process. Our poly bags can also be recycled with soft plastics, and we ask that you do your part in creating less waste and dispose of them properly.
